Founded in 1961 as Glaus, Pyle, Schomer, Burns & DeHaven, Inc., GPD has grown from only a handful of people at the original offices on Akron-Peninsula Road, to over 600 professionals in 14 offices throughout the United States. Following an employee buyout of the firm’s five founding partners in 1986 and a series of key strategic acquisitions, GPD maintains its commitment to the core values of family and work fulfillment and continues to create quality, innovative design solutions that enrich and enhance the lives of those served.
